Rolling Stones aka ‘The World’s Greatest Rock n’ Roll Band’ were founded in 1962 in London. The Stones started off as a blues band but quickly developed into a rock band that was part of the ‘British invasion’ of the sixties. After the demise of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones became the biggest touring band in the world. They are known for many popular hits, such as ‘Paint it Black’, ‘Lady Jane’, ‘Ruby Tuesday’, and ‘(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction’. The Rolling Stones have released 55 albums and sold over 200 million records word-wide during their career spanning over 45 years.

After an outstanding 20 years together, the Rolling Stones were still mighty enough to release an album that would top the US charts. The graphic for this print comes from the San Francisco poster advertising the biggest American tour of 1981. Rocking out on the back is the Amplified logo. Reverse seaming fuses the tee together in an alternative way. By treating the cotton with a vintage wash, the tee is extra soft and has a more authentic look. The raw edged hem and the slashed neck and sleeve ribbing adds a rebellious streak to the tee.
